Finally hotter days. We can put our warmest jackets aside and wear our summer capsule wardrobe. In this article, I am going to show you my summer capsule wardrobe list. Plus give you a free capsule planner and summer outfits ideas for every situation so you never run out of style.

Less is much more. I want you to have the most stylish summer capsule wardrobe. And you can be sure nothing will be missing. In this season wardrobe, I include breezy summer dresses, linen shorts and jumpsuits, colorful tops and bottoms and a good pair of essentials that I have all year round to give a good base to my accent pieces.

I chose 33 clothing pieces not including this time shoes and accessories for my summer capsule wardrobe and built effortless, minimalist and breezy outfits.

I build the outfits based on my lifestyle: casual weekdays, working from home and cafes,  meeting with friends, going out, date nights and events.  I didn’t count accessories and shoes because I have a multiple lifestyle needs and decided to invest more on styling. I also prepared a few outfits that are more classy for my working bees reading this wanting to kill it in the office.

Without further ado, let’s see this summer capsule wardrobe list so you can update your summer reads as quickly as possible in your favorite bikini.

Summer capsule wardrobe color palette

I always follow the same color structure to create my looks. It’s important to choose a cohesive color palette before you decide which clothes you’ll include because that way you can have interchangeable and countless outfits. I chose two neutral light colors that go with anything, three main colors for my key pieces (like jeans and basic tops) and four accent colors for my accent pieces (to bring some fun to my basic outfits).  Learn here how to build a cohesive color palette for your wardrobe.

I’m reusing the same base colors from my spring capsule wardrobe and added some softer hues for my accent pieces. I love seasonal color analysis and always try to include colors that look their best on me. I took a picture of my all year round wardrobe to extract the colors and added new summer pieces in hues that go well with the rest of my closet.

This is my Summer Capsule Wardrobe List with 33 clothing pieces not including accessories and shoes. I like to keep three free spots for other items I want to reutilize from my year-round wardrobe essentials in case the weather asks for different clothes (yes, global warming is real).
