My name is Nicole Salgado and I am an ethical fashion blogger, style consultant, and freelancer in Online Content Marketing (focusing on sustainable fashion).
Through my blog and through Instagram I help women revamp their style in a more sustainable way. On the blog you’ll find style tips, resources and sustainable fashion guides. Subscribe to my weekly newsletter here and get my capsule wardrobe planner as a freebie.
A little about myself
I come from a small town called Guimarães, which is in Portugal. My home town is an historic city because it’s the place where Portugal was born. I’m currently based in Berlin.
What I like to do
Somewhere I read that you’re either a woodpecker or a hummingbird. I think I’m a hummingbird. I move from flower to flower very quickly, taking in all I can. I have a lot of different interests and ideas.
I love fashion, nature, photography, music, reading and writing. I’m currently learning how to sew so that I can personally redesign and tailor my thrift-store finds.
What motivates me
I’m an introvert. I observe a lot, think too much and like to create. I am pursuing a degree in Applied Languages (with a focus on European Citizenship and Globalization). I love fashion and because I believe in being an active citizen, I am doing everything I can to help create a more sustainable world.
Due to my experience and passion for sustainable fashion, I’m hired as a style consultant. I also provide marketing and mentoring services to brands/individuals who also have an appreciation for sustainable fashion.
It’s my goal one day to work with disadvantaged communities to minimize the impact of the social problems that have resulted from globalisation. At the same time, I want my business and blog to keep growing as a positive platform, a place where you can transition to a conscious wardrobe, one in which you’ll feel confident and stylish.
